How Does Insurance Work?

To determine if you have mental health coverage you should check your coverage carefully and find answers to the following questions:
* What are my mental health benefits?
* What is the coverage amount per therapy session?
* How many therapy sessions does my plan cover?
* How much does my insurance pay for an out-of-network provider?

Payment

Payment may be made by cash or check.

Please note that payment in full is requested at time of service.

Sessions

Sessions are generally fifty (50) minutes. However, extended ninety (90) minute sessions for couples, individuals or other services are also available.

Make your payment directly to me and then seek reimbursement from your insurance company. Upon request, you will be given a monthly super bill to submit to your provider.

I am an out-of-network provider. This means if you have a PPO insurance plan, a portion of your fee may be covered in part by your insurance company.

Some people choose to pay directly for their sessions without billing insurance at all. This is a way to keep your sessions completely confidential.

Finally, investing in your well-being is truly priceless! When you feel the benefits of your dedication and newfound clarity that empowers your life and future choices-you will be filledwith the “riches” of purpose and hope.

Is Therapy Confidential?

The law protects the confidentiality of all communication between a client and psychotherapist. No information is disclosed without prior written permission from the client.

Exceptions: Suspected child abuse or dependent adult or elder abuse; If a client is threatening serious bodily harm to another person; If a client intends to harm herself or himself.
